The farm ‘Moro Fiacchi’ that hosts "The Harvest Moon" holiday house, is a typical Tuscan country mansion from the XVII century, With a spectacular pool overlooking the boundless valley, it sits in the very heart of the Val D’Orcia Artistic, Natural and Cultural Park, a short distance away from sites of particular historic and artistic interest (Pienza, Montalcino, S.Quirico d’Orcia, Montepulciano), from thermal baths (Bagni S. Filippo, Bagno Vignoni, Chianciano Terme, San Casciano dei Bagni, Rapolano Terme) and from Amiata Mountain, where one can stroll through chestnut and oak tree woods or follow the meandering of torrents that slope down into the Orcia river. The surrounding coutryside, with its soft hills, is likewise an ideal place for mountain-biking (rentable at the farm) and horseriding, departing from the nearby riding school.

The Farmhouse ‘Moro Fiacchi’ consists of the following four apartments particularly fit to host up to 22 people:

- the Green House, situated in the courtyard right in front of the swimming pool, consists of a large living room with cooking corner and two large divan beds (one single, one double) in front of the fireplace; it has two cosy bedrooms, both provided with king-size or twin beds and private bathroom.

- the Red House, with direct access to the garden and the swimming pool, consists of a large living room with cooking corner and a comfortable divan bed in front of the fireplace, a bedroom with king-size or twin bed, a bathroom accessible from the living room and a main bedroom with king-size bed plus large en-suite bathroom.

- the Yellow House, with direct access to the garden and the swimming pool, consists of a large living room with two single divan beds in front of the fireplace, an independent little kitchen, a large bedroom with king-size bed and a bathroom accessible from both the living and the bedroom;

- the Blue House, situated on the first floor, consists of a large living room with cooking corner and a comfortable sofa in front of the fireplace; a large main bedroom overlooking the valley through 4 wide windows and provided with king-size bed, working desk, fireplace and en-suite large bathroom; two additional bedrooms with queen-size beds and bathroom.

Each apartment has its own independent open-air meal corner.

HOW TO GET TO THE HARVEST MOON
From the exit “ CHIUSI - CHIANCIANO” of Autostrada A1 (Highway), pass the roundabout and turn left in the direction of CHIANCIANO
Carry on along the SS 146 up to Km. 13 (signpost numbered [13] visible straight after the ESSO gas station); at the crossroads,turn left in the direction of SS 2 CASSIA / MONTE AMIATA and then turn immediately right in the direction of MONTE AMIATA
Carry on for about 2,5 Km. and, at the crossroads, turn left, in direction of SS 2 CASSIA / MONTE AMIATA
Carry on for another 200 mt. and, at the crossroads, turn left again, in the direction of SS 2 CASSIA
Carry on along the SP 40 road for about 14 Km. up to the crossroad with SS 2 CASSIA
At the crossroads, turn right, in the direction of SIENA, and carry on for 1,5 Km. up to Km. 171 and VIII of the SS 2 CASSIA (numbered signposts visible along the right hand side of the road)
Once at Km. 171 and VIII of the SS 2 CASSIA, turn right and follow the white road up to the second farm on the right: welcome to "The Harvest Moon".
